Senator Jacko moved that CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 158(L&C) be                     
returned to the Rules Committee.  Senator Duncan objected.

Senator Jacko moved and asked unanimous consent that his motion                
be withdrawn.  Without objection, it was so ordered.                           
                                                                               
CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 158(L&C) "An Act making                                  
appropriations for contract settlement costs and cost-of-living                
adjustments for public employees who are members of certain                    
collective bargaining units; and providing for an effective date"  was         
read the second time.                                                          
                                                                               
Senator Kelly moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption               
of the Senate Committee Substitute offered on page 1863.  Without              
objection, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 158(L&C)                        
was adopted.                                                                   
                                                                               
SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 158(L&C) was read                          
the second time.                                                               
                                                                               
Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that SENATE                   
CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 158(L&C) be considered                            
engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage.
